Stereoscopic microscope is a small microscope with macroscopic magnification, which can be used for observation, photography, and analysis. There are also excellent research grade stereomicroscopes (with higher magnification and better objective lenses), typically magnifying around 6 to 200 times. Stereoscopic microscopes are generally only used for stereotyping analysis, but for qualitative measurements, they are not very accurate. It is necessary to know the determined body magnification ratio and cooperate with software or eyepiece measuring rulers to complete it.

(1) After installing the microscope, ensure that the power supply voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the stereoscopic microscope before plugging in the power plug, turning on the power switch, and selecting the lighting method;

(2) According to the observed specimens, select the table (Frosted glass table for observing transparent specimens; black and white table for observing opaque specimens), put it into the base table hole, and lock it;

(3) Loosen the fastening screw on the focusing slide and adjust the height of the lens body to a working distance that is roughly consistent with the selected objective lens magnification. After adjustment, lock the bracket tightly, place the safety ring against the focusing bracket and lock it tightly;

(4) Install the eyepiece, first loosen the screw on the eyepiece cylinder, and then tighten the screw (when placing the eyepiece into the stereoscopic microscope eyepiece cylinder, be particularly careful not to touch the surface of the lens with your hands);

(5) Adjust the pupil distance. When the user observes a field of view through two eyepieces that is not a circular field of view, they should pull the two prism boxes to change the distance between the eyepiece tube and the pupil, so that a completely overlapping circular field of view can be observed (indicating that the pupil distance has been adjusted);

(6) Observe the specimen (focus the specimen). First, adjust the visibility circle on the left eyeglass tube to the 0 mark position. Usually, first observe from the right eyepiece tube (i.e. fixed eyepiece tube), turn the zoom tube (when equipped with a zoom device model) to the * high magnification position, turn the focusing handwheel to focus the specimen until the image of the specimen is clear, then turn the zoom tube to the * low magnification position. At this time, observe with the left eyepiece tube, and if not clear, adjust the viewing circle on the axial direction of the lens tube until the image of the specimen is clear, and then observe its focusing effect with both eyes;

(7) At the end of the observation, turn off the power, remove the specimen, and tightly cover the microscope with a dust cover.

(1) Instruments should be protected from direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, dust, and corrosion from acid and alkali gases;

(2) The workspace should be kept clean regularly, and the stereoscopic microscope should be covered with a dust cover on the back cover;

(3) The stereoscopic microscope should be placed on a firm and stable workbench;

(4) When operating a stereoscopic microscope, it is important to avoid contamination of the lens and filter with dirt or fingers.
